A Writing Room is a place to write and ask occasional questions to the writing tutor. No registration required; this is a drop-in event.
The Writing Room
- Mondays, Jan. 16th – April 2nd, 1:00pm – 3:00pm, closed for Reading Week
The first half-hour is a brief presentation on how to write better. After that, you can work on your writing and ask questions to the tutor. It’s a great place to work on group papers because it isn’t a silent zone and you can get help. Everyone is welcome to this drop-in service! Held in Room 129.
First-Year Writing Room
- Tuesdays and Thursdays, Jan. 17th – April 5th, 6:00pm – 9:00pm, closed for Reading Week
This is a drop-in, group study place for 1st year students in Residence. Occasionally, the tutor will spend the first 30 minutes of the Writing Room on a presentation to help students with their writing.
