A Writing Room is a place to write and ask occasional questions to the writing tutor. No registration required; this is a drop-in event.
The Writing Room
- Mondays, Jan. 16th – April 2nd, 1:00pm – 3:00pm, closed for Reading Week
The first half-hour is a brief presentation on how to write better. After that, you can work on your writing and ask questions to the tutor. It’s a great place to work on group papers because it isn’t a silent zone and you can get help. Everyone is welcome to this drop-in service! Held in Room 129.
First-Year Writing Room
- Tuesdays and Thursdays, Jan. 17th – April 5th, 6:00pm – 9:00pm, closed for Reading Week
This is a drop-in, group study place for 1st year students in Residence. It’s held in the South Tower, Room A005; bring your assignments and your questions, work with others, and ask the tutor any questions you have. Occasionally, the tutor will spend the first 30 minutes of the Writing Room on a presentation to help students with their writing.
