This annual conference brings together UVic faculty and students, and community members to share and discuss
groundbreaking research and engage in critical conversations on a wide range of equity and diversity topics,

A troupe of UVic students (International Commons volunteers) from China, India, Japan, Malaysia, Korea, USA, Romania, Germany,

Let's Talk About Inclusion and International Development Workshop
The International Commons has joined with UVic's Equity and Human Rights Office and VIDEA (Victoria International Development and Education Association)
host an event that challenges us to explore issues of discrimination, homophobia, capitalism, colonization, sexism and prejudice.
Keynote address: Moussa Magassa, Human Rights Educator will begin the session with a presentation about human rights both globally and locally.

Academic English differs from the English we use in everyday life. A team of domestic students will volunteer to engage with
