5. Student Activity Grant Funding at UVic
Applications are accepted from September 1 to April 30.

Each year, the Office of Student Affairs at the University of Victoria provides grants to current graduate and undergraduate students in order to support extracurricular activities or unique opportunities. More information can be found at Student Activity Grant Funding.

6. External Grants
Nomination Deadline is June 30, 2012

If you have students who demonstrate initiative, leadership, integrity, and engagement in and out of the classroom, we encourage you to nominate them for the McGraw-Hill Ryerson, 2013 Student Scholarship Award.

The scholarship was conceived in 2006 to reinforce higher education institutional focus on the student learning experience. The award is directed towards rewarding those students who enhance the teaching and learning environment. Twenty scholarships of $1,000 will be awarded in the fall of 2013.

The Award is available to any full-time undergraduate student currently studying a degree, diploma, or certificate at an accredited Canadian college or university between June 1, 2012 - May 31, 2013.
