Lenses on Course Redesign: Internationalization
Wednesday, December 5 to Friday, December 7, 2007 [Breakfast and Lunch included]
8:30 AM ~ 4:30 PM, HHB 120 and HHB 128 [PLEASE NOTE CHANGE IN LOCATION]
With Sabine Lehr, Office of International Affairs and Dr. Catherine Caws, Department of French
Have you ever wondered how to add an international dimension to your course, so that students who cannot study abroad can still receive an international experience? Have you ever struggled with the presence of many cultural backgrounds and realities in your classroom?
We invite all instructors who have participated in the week long course redesign workshop (CRW) to participate in this three day workshop that is designed to revisit the course redesign process by applying an internationalization lens to instructional curricular design. Interested instructors who have not taken the CRW previously but would like to participate in this workshop may still be eligible to participate and should contact Sabine Lehr at 472-4028.
We encourage faculty and staff involved in teaching the same course to attend as a team.
